The Presidency of Al-Zahraa University for Women, in the presence of the University President, Prof. Dr Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, received the President of Karkh University of Science, Prof. Dr Juma’a Salman Jiyad, accompanied by the President of Middle Technical University, Prof. Dr Waddah Al-Tamimi, on the sidelines of the tenth international scientific conference for Arbaeen pilgrimage, within the framework of enhancing academic relations and expanding fields of scientific cooperation among Iraqi universities.

During the meeting, fields of scientific and academic cooperation between the two sides were reviewed, alongside discussing several proposals aimed at developing areas of joint action, particularly in educational and research fields, enhancing exchange of academic expertise and experiences, and supporting scientific development in both institutions.

The meeting also addressed the possibility of activating joint academic and research programmes and initiatives, as well as exchanging scientific and cognitive expertise and benefiting from available capabilities and experiences on both sides.

This visit affirms the keenness of Al-Zahraa University for Women to enhance its academic relations with Iraqi universities, expand fields of joint scientific and research work, support the exchange of expertise and experiences, and develop institutional partnerships serving the higher education and scientific research journey in Iraq.
