Al-Zahraa University for Women received a delegation from the Holy Qur'an House of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain / Mosul Branch. The visit aimed to strengthen scientific and cultural cooperation and expand partnership horizons between the two institutions, thereby supporting educational, cognitive, and Qur'anic activities.
During the meeting, several mutual themes aimed at developing cooperation and exchanging expertise were discussed. Proposals were put forward regarding supplying the library of the Holy Qur'an House with scientific and research publications, alongside peer-reviewed journals issued by the university and publications from the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain. Additionally, the discussions covered enriching the library with diverse knowledge sources to serve researchers and interested individuals.
Both parties also discussed mechanisms for implementing joint cultural and scientific programmes. These include organising visits for female students from the Mosul branch to the university to familiarise themselves with the academic environment and benefit from the scientific and cultural activities hosted by the university, as well as enhancing communication opportunities and experience sharing among students.
This visit falls within the framework of both sides' keenness to strengthen scientific and cultural partnerships and activate joint work agreements, opening broader horizons for coordination and the exchange of expertise that supports the educational and cognitive journey.
