Within the framework of its endeavours to consolidate relations with reputable scientific and cultural institutions, a delegation from the presidency of Al-Zahraa University for Women, led by the University President Prof. Dr Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani and accompanied by the senior staff, paid an official visit to the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Bayt al-Hikma, Dr Naeem Al-Aboudi. The visit aimed to extend congratulations and blessings on the occasion of his assumption of the chairmanship of the Board of Trustees of Bayt al-Hikma.
During the meeting, Prof. Dr Al-Sultani expressed her sincere wishes to Dr Al-Aboudi for continued success in leading this ancient scientific and cultural institution, emphasizing that Bayt al-Hikma represents one of the most prominent intellectual and knowledge landmarks in Iraq due to its intellectual heritage and qualitative contributions to supporting scientific research and enriching the cultural and intellectual reality.
For his part, Dr Naeem Al-Aboudi welcomed the visiting delegation, appreciating this visit which reflects the depth of relations between the two institutions. He emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation horizons and joint coordination to serve the aspirations of academic and scientific institutions in Iraq, contributing to anchoring a scientific environment based on the exchange of expertise.
The meeting witnessed discussions on methods to enhance the institutional partnership between Al-Zahraa University for Women and Bayt al-Hikma by activating cooperation in scientific research fields, organizing joint scientific and cultural programmes and events, and exchanging academic expertise, thereby contributing to serving society and enhancing the quality of knowledge and scientific outputs in Iraq.
This visit embodies Al-Zahraa University for Women's keenness to establish bridges of cooperation with leading scientific and intellectual institutions, enhancing integration ties with them in scientific research fields. It also reflects the University's orientation toward expanding the scope of institutional cooperation with national entities of scientific and cultural dimensions.
