In a step aimed at strengthening university capacities to support innovative ideas and transform them into viable projects, Al-Zahraa University for Women (Peace Be Upon Her), represented by the Science and Technology Parks Department/Entrepreneurship Division, organized on Sunday a specialized training course entitled “Entrepreneurship Trainer Preparation.”

The course was held in cooperation with the Directorate of Entrepreneurship and Excellence at the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, in the presence of University President Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, Dr. Hussein Flamers, Director of the Directorate of Entrepreneurship and Excellence and Advisor to the Prime Minister, as well as a number of faculty members and individuals interested in entrepreneurship. The event took place at Al-Kawthar Hall.

During the opening session, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani emphasized that investing in human capital is the foundation of any sustainable development initiative. She noted that preparing specialized entrepreneurship trainers would enhance the University’s ability to identify young talent and guide students toward practical pathways aligned with labor market needs.

For his part, Dr. Hussein Flamers highlighted the important role universities play in building a national entrepreneurship ecosystem, stressing that developing trainers’ skills is a fundamental step toward ensuring that innovation and entrepreneurship concepts are delivered to students through modern scientific and training approaches.

Flamers explained that the course focuses on developing qualified trainers equipped with practical entrepreneurship tools, enabling them to assist students in developing and evaluating innovative ideas and transforming them from initial concepts into viable projects.

The four-day training program covers a range of specialized topics, including modern entrepreneurship concepts, advanced training methods, and mechanisms for transforming innovative ideas into start-ups. It also incorporates Training of Trainers (TOT) methodologies to develop participants’ skills and enhance their ability to transfer knowledge and expertise efficiently and effectively.
