Al-Zahraa University for Women held a training course entitled “Education and Promotion of Ethical Values”, delivered by Prof. Dr. Zamil Al-Aribi. The course, which targeted the University’s academic staff, commenced on Saturday, 30 September 2023, and continued for three days at Al-Kawthar Continuing Education Hall. Additionally, the said event comes as part and parcel of its ongoing efforts to develop the intellectual and ethical dimensions of its academic staff.

The course addressed the importance of ethical values, the principles of general conduct, and the standards by which actions are assessed to distinguish between right and wrong. It also examined the various responsibilities of individuals towards their Creator, themselves, their families, their homeland, and humanity as a whole, as well as their rights.

These principles were further examined in relation to the personality of the university professor and the extent to which their ethical conduct influences the intellectual development, academic performance, and behaviour of female students.
