Within the framework of its continuous efforts to employ digital transformation and keep pace with technological acceleration, and in order to provide the best services to visitors of the Arbaeen of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him), Al-Zahraa University for Women launched the "Arbaeen" smart digital platform through the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, in cooperation with the Faculty of Pharmacy, to manage and organize the work of medical detachments, elevating service standards and enhancing field response efficiency and speed during the million-strong pilgrimage.

The "Arbaeen" platform includes several digital systems, incorporating medical detachment management system, processional management system, lost items system, transportation management system, support and logistics system, and statistics and reporting system. These systems come within an integrated vision to develop the management of services provided during the Arbaeen pilgrimage.

The medical detachment management system constitutes the first phase of the platform, as its initial trial launched in 2024 at Al-Zahraa female medical detachment, proving its success in organizing medical work electronically through registering patients, documenting medical data, following up on treatment cases, managing medications and medical supplies, and updating information in real time.

Furthermore, the "Arbaeen" platform received official accreditation from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to manage medical detachments affiliated with Iraqi universities during the Arbaeen pilgrimage, after demonstrating operational efficiency and effectiveness in organizing field work and managing medical data during seasons of million-strong visits.

The platform embodies the orientation of Al-Zahraa University for Women toward adopting advanced digital solutions and developing smart systems supporting health and service work, thereby contributing to elevating the level of services provided to visitors and keeping pace with crowd management requirements according to the latest advanced digital technologies globally.
