Under the auspices of the General Secretariat of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority, Al-Zahraa University for Women organized a scientific symposium titled "Women and the Hussaini Revolution: From Karbala to the Fields of Awareness in Lebanon and Iraq" as part of the activities of the fifth edition of the fifth Al-Zahraa International Academic Forum, with the participation of an elite group of female academics and media figures from Iraq and Lebanon.

On the sidelines of the symposium, the President of Al-Zahraa University for Women, Prof. Dr Zainab Al-Sultani, delivered a speech highlighting that the Hussaini Revolution established an inspiring framework, with Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her) serving as a model of awareness and steadfastness.

The sessions of the symposium addressed several intellectual and media axes, including the role of women in the thought of the Supreme Leader, Grand Ayatollah Sayid Ali Khamenei (may his soul be sanctified), the importance of the Muslim woman's presence in the digital space, as well as her role in the fields of jihad and resistance, while emphasizing her responsibility in consolidating authentic values.

Furthermore, the symposium witnessed scientific dialogues focusing on enhancing cultural and academic cooperation between Iraq and Lebanon, exchanging expertise in fields of women's empowerment, and concluding with an emphasis that inspiring the Hussaini approach represents a basis for preparing conscious women capable of contributing to serving society and confronting intellectual and media challenges.

Through the forum's activities, Al-Zahraa University for Women continues to consolidate its position as a scientific platform for dialogue and knowledge exchange by attracting academic and intellectual elites, alongside organizing events that contribute to enhancing awareness and highlighting the role of women in building society.
