The National Centre for Medical Competency Assessment, in cooperation with Al-Zahraa University for Women and Warith Al-Anbiyaa University, organised a quality assurance meeting on ensuring quality and developing university performance at Al-Zahraa University for Women and Warith Al-Anbiyaa University. The meeting was held in Umm Abiha Hall at ZUW on Sunday, 1 October 2023.

The meeting opened with a welcoming and appreciative address delivered by Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, President of Al-Zahraa University for Women, followed by an address delivered by Prof. Dr. Sabih Al-Mashhadani, President of the aforementioned Centre.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Noor Hatif Al-Dabbagh, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Al-Zahraa University for Women, then delivered a detailed presentation on the Faculty’s scientific output and educational performance improvement plan. This was followed by a presentation on the Faculty of Nursing at Warith Al-Anbiyaa University, delivered by Lect. Zahra' Abd Ali, Quality Assurance head at the Faculty of Nursing. Dr. Hassan Al-Qazzaz, Dean of the Faculty of Health and Medical Technologies at the University, subsequently delivered a presentation on the Faculty of Health and Medical Technologies.

The presentations addressed the assessment file, improvement plans for addressing areas of weakness, as well as training programmes aimed at developing skills and implementing quality standards in scientific laboratories.

At the conclusion of the meeting, His Eminence the Legitimate Overseer and the President of the University honoured the outstanding female students who achieved the top positions, as well as the female students who obtained high marks in the Ministry’s national assessment examinations for the Faculty of Pharmacy.
