Al-Zahraa University for Women, represented by the University President Prof. Dr Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani and in the presence of senior staff, received an academic delegation from the newly established Al-Asbat University College, led by Dr Sa’ad Al-Din Al-Banna’, accompanied by Prof. Dr Sabah Al-Jabri and Prof. Dr Shakir Faleh. This visit falls within the framework of strengthening scientific and academic cooperation ties between higher education institutions.
The visit featured an expanded meeting that addressed several scientific, academic, and administrative files of mutual interest. Discussions also covered the requirements and mechanisms for developing administrative and academic infrastructures, enhancing the research capabilities of teaching staff, and reviewing guaranteed methods to develop educational programmes and bolster their scientific efficiency.
During the visit, Prof. Dr Al-Sultani emphasised the importance of building active academic partnerships between Iraqi higher education institutions to enhance the quality of institutional and academic performance. She highlighted the need to foster a university environment that stimulates creativity and innovation, whilst supporting continuous development pathways to reflect positively on educational outcomes and their role in serving society.
This visit reflects the commitment of both parties to enhance joint cooperation and exchange academic expertise. It underscores the pivotal role of both institutions in elevating education quality and providing a stimulating scientific environment that contributes to preparing qualified professionals capable of improving the standard of university education.
