The Women Empowerment Unit at Al-Zahraa University for Women concluded the second day of the Administrative Leadership Skills Course on Tuesday, 27 September 2022. Additionally, the event was held in cooperation with the Training and Development Department at Imam Hussein Holy Shrine.
The said course was held under the supervision of the Continuing Education Department at Al-Kawthar Centre for Continuing Education and was delivered by trainer Ghusoon Al-Nasrawi.
Al-Nasrawi explained that the course would continue for three consecutive days, with three training hours each day. She noted that the programme targets the staff of ZUW, aiming to equip them with the knowledge and skills required to effectively fulfil leadership roles in the field of administration.
Ms Hiba Salem Jawad, Head of the Women Empowerment Unit, stated that the course introduced participants to the concept and importance of administrative leadership, as well as the key qualities of an effective administrative leader. She added that the programme also addressed different leadership styles and their significance in the workplace, reviewed major leadership theories and their practical applications, and provided a detailed explanation of the four core elements of management and their importance in developing effective administrative leaders.
The course further included a series of practical exercises designed to reinforce key concepts and enhance participants’ understanding of the topics presented.
