In a collaborative initiative between the Department of Continuing Education and the Department of Quality Assurance and Academic Performance, ZUW organised a specialised training course titled "The Art of Etiquette and General Protocol." The programme was specifically designed to enhance the professional expertise of the University’s support and service staff.

The course aimed to refine the female participants' interpersonal skills, focusing on professional protocol, workplace ethics, and the development of public relations competencies. Additionally, the course was delivered by Dr. Farah Al-Fadhli, Head of the Continuing Education Department, and Asst. Lect. Hawra' Kareem Al-Hanoon, Head of the Quality Assurance Department, the curriculum covered a diverse range of topics, including:

Foundations of Etiquette: Defining the principles of etiquette and their alignment with Islamic values, as well as the standards of formal and social conduct rooted in courtesy, professional greetings, and humility.

Communication & Conduct: Masterclass in the art of conversation, the professional necessity of acknowledging errors, punctuality with guests, and the APS (Advanced Professional Service) model.

Health & Safety Standards: Emphasising personal hygiene, the preparation of safe and nutritious food, professional appearance, and the safe handling of chemical cleaning agents.

Service Excellence: Identifying the essential skills required for professional hospitality and high-quality service delivery.
