As part of its continuous efforts to provide the female students with medical information related to some common diseases among women and provide ways to raise awareness about them, the College of Health and Medical Technologies/ Radiology Department at Al-Zahraa University for Women held a scientific symposium entitled (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome), presented by: M.M. . Aseel Ihsan Mahmoud, on Sunday corresponding to 5/7/2023, in the hall of the Radiology Department.
The symposium discussed the most important reasons that lead to PCOS, including: weight increasing, stress and anxiety, genetic factors, diabetes, thyroid diseases, and brain tumors, as well as the instructions that help of protection of this syndrome and its treatment. .
