Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, President of Al-Zahraa University for Women, received the Syrian delegation, represented by Prof. Mazen Al-Murtadha, the Legitimate Overseer of the Affairs of Zainab Holy Shrine, and Eng. Hassan Maqsoud, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Syrian Arab International University in Damascus, along with their accompanying delegation, at the Presidency Office.

The visiting delegation toured various facilities of the University and its educational laboratories, expressing their admiration for the extensive facilities and resources provided for its female students, academic staff, and personnel.

For his part, Eng. Maqsoud commended the standard of education and infrastructure at the University, emphasising the importance of transferring global academic experiences and implementing them in Iraq, which provides universities capable of keeping pace with modernity and development.

Prof. Al-Murtadha, meanwhile, praised the role of Imam Hussein Holy Shrine in supporting the educational sector through the establishment of universities and scientific centres dedicated to knowledge, education, and humanitarian service.

Additionally, the said visit of the two delegations to Al-Zahraa University for Women forms part of the ongoing visits organised by the Public Relations Department of Imam Hussein Holy Shrine for visiting delegations to the Holy Shrine’s various projects and institutions.
