Al-Zahraa University for Women welcomed the ministerial committee responsible for auditing summer maintenance works in student dormitories, as part and parcel of its field programme to follow up on the readiness of Iraqi universities for the 2025–2026 academic year. The committee was received by Asst. Lect. Ameera Abbas Al-'Amiri, Director of Student Dormitories.

The committee of the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority comprised:

* Asst. Lect. Bassam Kareem Zaidan
* Asst. Lect. Maysam Yaseen Taresh
* Asst. Lect. Zaid Ali Hussein
* Mr Ahmed Abd Al-Razzaq Ali

During its tour of the student dormitories, the committee reviewed the progress of maintenance works and the level of services provided, emphasising the importance of the University’s efforts to provide a suitable and safe residential environment for female students.

The committee commended the preparations undertaken, confirming that it would submit its detailed recommendations to the Ministry, in line with directives aimed at improving the conditions of student dormitories and preparing them to the highest possible standard.

It bears noting that this visit forms part of a series of field visits conducted by the ministerial committee to both public and private universities, in accordance with the regulations of the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority.
