The Department of English Language, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Department, organised a scientific workshop entitled “Activating Audiovisual Input for Second Language Acquisition.”
The workshop was held by the Faculty of Education, Department of English Language, in one of the Department’s lecture halls and was attended by several academic staff members and female students of the Department.
During the workshop, Asst. Lect. Amani Abd Al-Kadhim and Asst. Lect. Dalia Qais provided guidance on how to transform ideas into comprehensible language through exposure to and analysis of a number of English-language video clips.
