Under the guidance of the Presidency of Al-Zahraa University for Women, the Services Affairs Department continues its efforts to maintain and monitor the University’s infrastructure through a range of technical workshops responsible for overseeing various technical and manufacturing works.
Mr Hamid Al-Masoudi, Head of the Maintenance Department, stated that the Services Affairs Department had established a Technical Unit comprising several technical workshops, including agriculture, civil defence, metalworking, carpentry and aluminium, and mechanical workshops. He explained that these workshops provide the University with its manufacturing needs, including wood, aluminium, and metalwork, in addition to carrying out maintenance works on the University’s public facilities and property.
The presence of these technical workshops at the University contributes to the swift and efficient completion of various works, while also reducing the cost of purchasing services and materials from the market and providing employment opportunities for skilled workers.
