As part and parcel of the summer programmes and in conjunction with the commencement of the current academic year’s summer break, the Training and Qualification Unit of the University Education Authority of Imam Hussein Holy Shrine. The said event was in cooperation with Warith Al-Anbiyaa University and Al-Zahraa University for Women, launched a placement test for participants seeking admission to a specialised English language training course.
The placement test was conducted in Umm Abiha Grand Hall at ZUW and was attended by participants from both Universities.
The assessment was designed to determine the proficiency levels of students accepted into the first batch of the programme. Additionally, participants were classified into several levels, ranging from beginner to advanced proficiency.
The said course aims to develop and enhance the English language skills of students and staff members of the Universities affiliated with Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, enabling them to achieve greater linguistic competence and academic advancement. Furthermore, particular emphasis is placed on students whose disciplines require English language proficiency, while also supporting the development of their curricula vitae and future career prospects in line with labour market requirements.
It goes without saying that the University Education Authority continues to organise such specialised programmes as part and parcel of its commitment to strengthening joint cooperation among the Universities affiliated with Imam Hussein Holy Shrine.
