The Department of Arabic Language, in cooperation with the Department of Continuing Education, held a training course under the title (Facilitating the Science of Prosody) considering the requests from the department.
It was presented by Professor (Dr. Hamid Yacoub Naima) in AL Kawthar Hall and classrooms belonging to the department for over a period of three weeks.
The specialized course aimed at expediting the process of learning prosody in both written and vocal ways due to its importance in preserving poetry from any deformation or distortion.The art of prosody forms the the basis of poetic music and requires efficient training and practice.
