As part of the distinguished academic contributions of the College of Education's faculty members, Prof. Dr. Iman Samir Bahiya, Dean of the College of Education at Al-Zahraa University (PBUH) for Women, supervised a PhD dissertation submitted by researcher Nabiha Qahtan Duraib Barhi Al-Janabi at the College of Education for Pure Sciences, University of Babylon. The dissertation was entitled:

"One-Sided and Intertwining Approximation on Quasi-Normed Spaces."

The examination committee was chaired by Prof. Dr. Iftikhar Mudhar Talib and included Prof. Dr. Zaher Dbeis Azzawi, Prof. Dr. Samira Naji Kadhim, Prof. Dr. Hawraa Abbas Fadhil Al-Murab, and Prof. Dr. Zainab Abdul Munim Abdul Hadi, while Prof. Dr. Iman Samir Bahiya served as both a committee member and the dissertation supervisor.

The dissertation presented an advanced study in approximation theory, focusing on one-sided and intertwining approximation in quasi-normed spaces. It investigated interpolation conditions and their impact on approximation accuracy, offering valuable mathematical findings that contribute to the advancement of this specialized area of research.
