Department Head's Word

An Administrative Vision Towards Excellence and Development

A Word from the Head of Department: "In a world rapidly accelerating digital transformation and a knowledge-based economy, the university's role is no longer limited to transmitting information, but extends to creating impact and developing solutions. From this premise, our vision at the Science and Technology Parks Department at Al-Zahraa University for Women is to serve as the true bridge connecting the intellectual output of our students and researchers with the practical and industrial realities. Our work, through our specialized divisions—from qualification and employment to ensure graduate readiness, through entrepreneurship and the Women's Technology Incubator to cultivate entrepreneurial thinking, to the marketing of scientific outputs—aims to create an integrated environment that empowers women academically and technically. We believe that every scientific research project or innovative idea is a latent national project, and our mission is to provide technical and advisory support to transform these ideas into products and patents that contribute to sustainable development. Our goal is not only to graduate qualified students, but also to cultivate female entrepreneurs and innovators who lead change in society, guided by the directives of our advisory boards, which ensure we adhere to the highest international professional standards." Towards a university that innovates, creates, and serves the community. Dr. Ahmed Yahya Awad Head of Science and Technology Parks Department
