Within the framework of its preparations to participate in the National University Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Championship (NURAI 2026), the Science and Technology Parks Department at Al-Zahraa University for Women organised scientific sessions to evaluate nominated student projects, under the guidance of the University President, Prof. Dr Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani.
The evaluation sessions were attended by an academic committee comprising a number of faculty members from the Faculty of Engineering. The students presented their innovative projects and ideas, while the committee conducted a comprehensive evaluation based on scientific criteria. These standards included the quality of the idea, level of innovation, and applicability, alongside the students' efficiency in presenting their projects and discussing their scientific and technical details.
This step aims to select the projects that will represent the university in the championship competitions, reflecting the advanced academic standard of its students and confirming their ability to employ modern technologies to innovate solutions serving various fields.
Al-Zahraa University for Women continues to support scientific initiatives and innovative projects, stemming from its vision to prepare academic professionals possessing research and applied skills, who are capable of competing in scientific forums, thereby contributing to consolidating a culture of innovation and excellence within the university environment.
