The workshop addressed the concept of cyber violence and its most common forms affecting women in digital environments, including cyber extortion, cyberbullying, defamation, and violations of privacy. It also examined the psychological and social consequences of such practices and their impact on women's safety and well-being.
Furthermore, the workshop highlighted preventive measures and strategies to combat cyber violence by promoting digital awareness, protecting personal information, emphasizing the importance of reporting online abuse and extortion, and encouraging the safe and responsible use of social media platforms.
The workshop reflects the College of Education's commitment to raising students' awareness and empowering them to address challenges in the digital environment, contributing to a safer online space that safeguards women's dignity and rights.
