Al-Zahraa University for Women delegation participated in a renewable energy conference held under the title "Investing in Clean Energy Is Our Goal to Achieve Sustainable Development". The conference was held for the second consecutive time with international participation from various universities. Additionally, the said event comes in response to an official invitation extended by the Northern Technical University to the presidency of the University.

The delegation was headed by Prof. Dr. Zainab Abd Al-Hussein Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, the University President, and included the membership of Prof. Dr. Zuhair Al-Mankoushi, the Vice President for Scientific Affairs, the deans of faculties, Dr. Hasan Al-Qazzaz and Dr. Azhar Al-Zubaidi, and Dr. Wisam Ali, the Head of Public Relations at the University.

The delegation's participation in the conference culminated in an extensive meeting between the two universities, chaired by Prof. Dr. Alia' Al-Attar, the President of the Northern Technical University, and Prof. Dr. Al-Sultani. This meeting resulted in concluding a memorandum of understanding for joint cooperation between the two universities in scientific and research fields, particularly at the level of technical faculties and other technical specialisations.

It is mentioned that the cooperation, which culminated in the conclusion of a joint memorandum of understanding, had emerged from a series of important meetings that took place on the sidelines of a visit by a delegation from both universities to the Expo 2020 Dubai festival in the capital, Dubai. It is worth noting that this initiative to strengthen ties constitutes one of the most important outcomes of the University delegation's participation at that time.
