Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, President of Al-Zahraa University for Women, the Scientific Affairs Department, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Department, held a scientific workshop entitled “First and Second Criteria of the UI GreenMetric Ranking 2023”. The said event comes in pursuit of advancing sustainability efforts on campus, improving scientific performance, supporting development, and keeping pace with global university rankings and their assessment of universities’ implementation of environmental conservation standards. 

Additionally, the workshop was delivered by Lect. Dr. Bushra Mohammed Al-Mutairi on Saturday, 12 August 2023, at Al-Kawthar Continuing Education Centre.

The workshop provided an introduction to the ranking, an overview of the indicators of the first and second criteria, the scores achieved by the University in the latest 2022 edition for both criteria, and proposals for continuous improvement. It also addressed the initiatives that could be implemented by the University Presidency to further improve the University’s performance in the ranking.
