Al-Zahraa University for Women, affiliated with Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, has announced a decision granting female students in the Nahj Al-Balagha and Islamic Education Department within the Faculty of Education a full exemption from tuition fees for all academic stages. Additionally, the said event comes in implementation of the directives of the Representative of the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence Al-Sheikh Abd Al-Mahdi Al-Karbala'i.

Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, the University President, explained that the decision comes as a direct response to the directives of the Representative of the Supreme Religious Authority and aims to support female students and their families amid the current economic circumstances. Furthermore, this initiative seeks to ensure the continuity of the educational process smoothly and without obstacles. She further noted that the initiative reflects the University’s academic and social role in providing a stable educational environment that enables female students to continue their academic journey and fulfil their aspirations.

It is worth noting that the decision affirms the University’s commitment to policies aimed at expanding access to quality education and alleviating financial burdens on female students. It is also consistent with the University’s approach to providing direct support to female students and enhancing their active participation in the educational process. Through such initiatives, the University continues to strengthen its role and impact through a clear vision centred on serving the community and advancing the quality of higher education.
