Al-Zahraa University for Women held a cultural session and Imam Hussein mourning gathering at Imam Hussein Camp, organised as part and parcel of the activities of the International Al-Zahraa Academic Forum for Imam Hussein Camp. The said event comes in honour of the Martyr of Reflection and Tears, and amidst the crowds of visitors to the K'aba of the Free, who travelled to him from every distant place.

The event was held on Monday, 4 September 2023, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, President of Al-Zahraa University for Women; Prof. Barkan Ahmed, Coordinator of Female Volunteers at the Women’s Relations Division of Imam Hussein Holy Shrine; Tunisian media professional Dr. Reem Al-Warimi; Dr. Amani Musa from Palestine; and a slew of academics from various governorates of Iraq.

The session commenced with verses from the Holy Qur’an, followed by an address delivered by Prof. Dr. Al-Sultani. The gathering concluded with Imam Hussein mourning assembly commemorating the patience, modesty, dignity and chastity embodied by Lady Zainab Al-Hawra' (PBUH), the Lady of Al-Taff.
