The Presidency of the Karbala Provincial Council has extended its congratulations to Al-Zahraa University (PBUH) for Women on its outstanding achievement of securing first place among Iraqi private universities and third place among all Iraqi universities in the WURI 2026 (World University Rankings for Innovation).
The Council praised the university's continued academic accomplishments, affirming that this achievement represents a significant addition to its record of excellence and reflects the distinguished academic standards the university has attained across various fields.

Within the activities of the International Dean’s Conference for Media organized by the al-Abbas’s (p) Holy Shrine, the President of Al-Zahra University for women , (Prof. Dr. Zainab Abdul-Hussein Al-Mulla Al-Sultani) participated in an academic intervention on the reality and position of women in contemporary media. In her speech, Mrs. Al-Sultani emphasized on the role of the media in confronting Intellectual attacks directed at women in Islamic societies and the role of misleading media in promoting some false reasoning within the reality of daily life.
