The Continuing Education Department at Al-Zahraa University for Women, in cooperation with Al-Kut University College, organised a scientific workshop entitled Qualitative Assessment of Higher Education Outcomes in Iraq. The workshop was delivered by Prof. Dr. Abd Al-Hussein Ghanim Sakhi on Saturday, 25 February 2023, at Al-Kawthar Continuing Education Centre.
The workshop was attended by the deans of the faculties, their deputy deans, and members of the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department.
The workshop introduced the educational objectives of academic courses, explained the methods of designing objective examinations in accordance with educational objectives, and highlighted the importance of establishing an examination bank in Iraqi universities. It also included practical examples demonstrating the proportions of students’ cognitive, behavioural, and performance-based learning objectives.
