As part and parcel of the Cultural Week activities the Continuing Education Department, in cooperation with the Faculty of Education, organised a Festival for People of Determination.
It is significant to point out that the festival was held in conjunction with the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on 3 December. The said event included a theatrical performance and speeches addressing the occasion and its significance.
This step comes as an attempt to raise public awareness of the importance of this segment of society and its role within the community.
