The Department of Physiotherapy Techniques at Al-Zahraa University for Women organised a voluntary campaign on the risks associated with elevated blood glucose levels in the area between the Two Holy Shrines. The said event comes as part and parcel of Barakat Al-Anwar Al-Muhammadiyah initiative launched by Imam Hussein Holy Shrine and under the auspices of the Authority for Health and Higher Education.
The campaign was carried out by a group of female students from the Department of Physiotherapy Techniques and targeted visitors to Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) and his brother Abu Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him). During the campaign, participants measured visitors’ blood glucose levels and provided health education on its dangers.
