The Arabic Language Department at the Education Faculty, Al-Zahraa University for Women, held an academic workshop entitled “Spelling Rules and Punctuation Marks.” Additionally, Lect. Dr. Naba’ Sa’eed Abd led the workshop in one of the department’s lecture halls, with female student participating from the department.
The workshop aimed to enhance writing abilities in accordance with correct spelling conventions and reduce common mistakes caused by incorrect writing practices. It also managed to shed light on punctuation marks and their proper usage in written texts. As grammatical rules serve as the means to syntactic correctness, then orthography is the getaway to achieving accurate and complete written form.
