The College of Pharmacy at Al-Zahraa University (A.S.) for Women has achieved a significant academic milestone by receiving unconditional programmatic accreditation for a period of five years, in accordance with a ministerial order issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. This achievement reflects the College’s fulfillment of the approved requirements and standards for academic program accreditation.
This accomplishment is the result of the continuous efforts exerted by the College’s Deanship, academic and administrative staff, and specialized committees. It also reflects the College’s institutional commitment to developing its educational environment, curricula, and laboratories, as well as strengthening its quality assurance and continuous improvement systems in line with the requirements of pharmaceutical education and academic accreditation standards.
On this occasion, the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Prof. Dr. Noor Hatif Al-Dabbagh, stated that obtaining this accreditation is the culmination of teamwork, continuous planning, and a strong commitment to implementing academic quality standards. She commended the efforts of the academic and administrative staff and the committees involved in the accreditation process, emphasizing the College’s determination to maintain this level of excellence and further enhance the quality of pharmaceutical education and its academic outcomes.
The five-year unconditional programmatic accreditation represents the highest level of accreditation in terms of full compliance when compared with conditional accreditation. It demonstrates that the academic program has fulfilled the approved requirements without conditions attached to the accreditation decision and marks an important milestone in the College of Pharmacy’s journey toward consolidating quality and advancing its academic and professional outcomes.
