The Presidency of Al-Zahraa University for Women has extended its congratulations to Mrs Janan Al-Wazzani, Head of the Student Activities Department, on earning a Master’s degree from the University of Religions and Denominations, Faculty of Religion and Art, specialising in Philosophy of Art, in Iran.
Her thesis, entitled “An Urban and Artistic Study of Imam Hussein Shrine Precinct from the Jalayirid Era to the End of the Ottoman Era,” examined the nature of the transformations and influences that accompanied the architectural development of Imam Hussein Shrine Precinct. The research also sought to identify the origins and underlying factors behind these architectural transformations and influences during the Jalayirid and Ottoman periods.
