In a distinguished participation, ZUW launched an exceptional promotional platform highlighting the University’s identity during its delegation's tour through the corridors of the international exposition. This initiative aims to foster collaboration with the international academic community, exchange expertise, and discover innovative and pioneering skills and ideas within the framework of achieving sustainable development in education and scientific research.

The University delegation, led by Prof. Dr. Zainab Abd Al-Hussein Al-Mulla, the University President, discussed a series of portfolios related to the University’s operations and its unique status as the first institution dedicated exclusively to female higher education in Iraq. Additionally, these discussions took place on the sidelines of their inaugural visit to the Iraqi Pavilion, focusing primarily on establishing distinctive foundations for scientific and academic cooperation with reputable Arab and international universities. It is worth noting that such partnerships are intended to facilitate the flow of research and intellectual capabilities, cultivate a spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation, and strengthen international links in university and institutional partnerships, ultimately generating a legacy of innovations.

The United Arab Emirates is currently hosting "Expo 2020" in Dubai, marking the first World Expo to be held in the Middle East. The said event commenced on 1 October 2021 and will continue until 31 March 2022, with an expected attendance exceeding 25 million visitors.
