The President of Al-Zahraa (A.S.) University for Women, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, received a delegation from the Republic of Madagascar headed by Sheikh Shamir Al-Khoja to discuss preparations for welcoming ten female students from Madagascar who will study free of charge at the University under the “Study in Iraq” initiative. The meeting was attended by senior University officials.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed academic, administrative, and logistical preparations for receiving the students and providing them with a supportive university environment. The discussions focused on ensuring suitable educational conditions, facilitating their integration into university life, and enabling them to benefit from the academic programs offered by the University.

Prof. Al-Sultani reaffirmed Al-Zahraa (A.S.) University for Women’s commitment to providing all necessary requirements for the students and creating an appropriate academic environment for them. She also highlighted the importance of educational initiatives in promoting scientific and cultural exchange and attracting students from different countries.

For its part, the delegation expressed its interest in strengthening cooperation with Al-Zahraa (A.S.) University for Women, commending the University’s efforts to provide a supportive educational environment for students. The delegation also emphasized the importance of continued academic engagement in fostering scientific and cultural ties between Iraq and the Republic of Madagascar.
