The Faculty of Pharmacy organised a scientific workshop entitled “Public Speaking and Effective Interaction with Female Students” on Wednesday, 5 April 2023, in the Faculty of Pharmacy Hall. The said event comes in line with Al-Zahraa University for Women’s vision of fostering the personal development of female students and enhancing their skills to promote effective communication and positive 

The workshop was delivered by Asst. Lect. Hussein Ali Qabil, Lect. Dr. Dia' Rahim Al-Tamimi, and Asst. Lect. Rusul Malik Mohammed.

The workshop introduced the fundamentals of effective public speaking and highlighted the key qualities of a successful lecturer. Additionally, participants explored essential presentation skills, including the effective use of body language, voice modulation and vocal training, maintaining active engagement with students rather than remaining seated throughout the lecture, and observing professional etiquette.

The presenters also discussed the broader benefits of developing strong public speaking skills, emphasising their role in building interpersonal relationships, strengthening family and social communication, achieving personal fulfilment, and enhancing professional performance and productivity.
