Dr. Dhaifullah Zamel Harbi and Dr. Mostafa Abd Al-Sahib have published a scientific research paper entitled “Toward an Economic Principled Polysemy Model” in the journal Theory and Practice in Language Studies, which is indexed in Scopus and ranked in the third quartile (Q3).
The research focuses on Cognitive Semantics, one of the most recent areas of linguistics and a level of Cognitive Linguistics concerned with the mental aspects, cognitive processes, and cognitive abilities involved in analysing speech. The study examines the issue of polysemy and the centrality of meaning.
