An Administrative Vision Towards Excellence and Development

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. All praise is due to Allah (swt), Lord of the Worlds, and may peace and blessings be upon the noblest of creation and the Seal of the Messengers, Mohammad, and upon his pure and virtuous Household. Welcome to the official webpage of the Arab and International Students’ Residence Unit at Al-Zahraa University for Women. We pray that Almighty Allah grants us success in fulfilling our responsibilities and serving our valued students. Operating under the University Presidency, the Arab and International Students’ Residence Unit is responsible for assisting Arab and international female students wishing to study at ZUW. Additionally, its responsibilities begin with following up on their arrival in Iraq through the country’s points of entry and airports, and overseeing their residence permit procedures for study purposes. The Unit also works to provide a suitable university environment that ensures their safety, security and stability throughout their academic journey. The Unit further undertakes the continuous follow-up of students’ affairs within the University and works to address their needs in coordination and cooperation with the relevant University staff and units. Furthermore, these efforts are carried out in accordance with the directives of the University Presidency and its commitment to providing the highest standards of care and support for incoming female students. At the Unit, we believe that welcoming female students from various countries extends beyond academic provision; it represents a humanitarian and cultural responsibility that contributes to strengthening communication between peoples and presenting a positive image of Iraq and its educational institutions, particularly Al-Zahraa University for Women.
