As part and parcel of its ongoing efforts to expand scientific collaboration and strengthen its academic presence, Al-Zahraa University conducted an official visit to Al-Karkh University of Science, led by the University President, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Sultani, accompanied by members of the senior staff. The visit aimed to reinforce academic relations and activate areas of joint cooperation between the two institutions in a way that supports scientific and intellectual advancement within Iraqi universities.

The delegation was received by the President of Al-Karkh University of Science, Prof. Dr. Juma' Salman Jiyad, where an extensive discussion session was held. The meeting addressed mutual interest in developing institutional partnerships between Iraqi universities and explored ways to enhance academic and scientific cooperation to serve the future of higher education in line with global advancements.

The discussions covered several key areas, including strengthening collaboration in scientific research, exchanging academic expertise, developing curricula, and adopting modern scientific and technological developments. The possibility of launching joint academic and research programs was also examined, aiming to improve academic standards and enhance the quality of higher education outcomes.

Both sides emphasized the importance of building strategic partnerships based on scientific integration and knowledge exchange, contributing to the efficiency of Iraqi academic institutions and reinforcing their presence in regional and international academic forums.

In a related context, the meeting also addressed ongoing preparations for the 10th International Scientific Conference on the Arbaeen Pilgrimage, organized by the Karbala Center for Studies and Research in cooperation with Al-Karkh University of Science. Key themes, participation mechanisms, and the importance of attracting researchers and specialists from inside and outside Iraq were reviewed, with the aim of enriching scholarly discussions on the cultural, social, and civilizational dimensions of the Arbaeen pilgrimage in light of rapid digital transformations.

This visit reflects the commitment of both parties to sustaining coordination and joint collaboration, and to working toward signing future agreements and memoranda of understanding that will establish a solid academic partnership based on knowledge exchange and scientific integration.
