About Department
The Student Activities Department is regarded as one of the key departments within the University’s educational framework, as it seeks to build and develop students’ capacities and refine their talents beyond the confines of the traditional academic curriculum. The Department is responsible for organising and promoting cultural, sporting, artistic, and social activities that foster cooperation, enhance self-confidence, and stimulate creative potential. Moreover, it endeavours to provide a supportive and motivating educational environment conducive to students’ holistic development.
Vision
To serve as a pioneering academic platform for fostering creativity, nurturing excellence, and cultivating leadership, thereby contributing to the development of students’ personalities as confident and responsible leaders capable of achieving accomplishments at both the local and, subsequently, the international levels.
Message
The Students Activities Department is committed to enhancing the comprehensive University experience by designing and implementing strategic programs and activities that advance students’ intellectual, leadership, and social skills, while instilling strong values, a sense of belonging, and social responsibility. The Department strives to empower students to become proactive and innovative leaders, capable of representing their University and community with competence and distinction at both local and international levels.
Goals
1. To cultivate creativity among students, foster a spirit of initiative, and equip them with influential leadership skills.
2. To reinforce the principles of teamwork and instil a distinct sense of excellence and belonging to their educational and cultural institution.
3. Discovering students’ talents, providing appropriate care and support for them, and transforming these talents into tangible and distinguished achievements.
4. Assisting students in representing the institution with high efficiency and achieving distinguished accomplishments locally and internationally.
