Under the auspices of the University President, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, and under the supervision of the Dean of the Faculty of Education, Prof. Dr. Iman Sameer Bahiyya, the Faculty of Education / Department of Mathematics organized the Fifth World Mathematics Day Festival, celebrating the world of numbers and its rich creative dimensions, as well as its broad applications that contribute to advancing scientific innovation.

The festival program featured a range of diverse scientific activities that reflected a strong integration between theoretical and applied aspects. These activities highlighted students’ capabilities and enhanced academic engagement, in alignment with the Department’s objectives of supporting academic initiatives and fostering interest in mathematics.

The festival was held within the framework of the University’s vision to promote a solid scientific culture and strengthen the role of extracurricular activities that support the educational process.

Among the University’s key priorities is the development of students’ intellectual and analytical skills, the refinement of their logical and creative thinking abilities, and encouraging them to engage positively with mathematical sciences and their applications across various fields of life.
