As part of efforts to enhance scientific and academic cooperation among Iraqi universities, and as a continuation of the previously signed scientific agreement between the two sides, the University President, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, accompanied by members of the senior staff, conducted an official visit to the University of Fallujah. The visit aimed to follow up on the implementation of the agreement’s provisions, activate its key areas, and open broader horizons for joint cooperation across various scientific and research fields.

The President of the University of Fallujah, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Suleiman Hamad, welcomed the visit, emphasizing that this step reflects the shared commitment of both universities to developing scientific partnerships, improving academic performance, and enhancing the quality of higher education.

The visit included an expanded meeting during which progress achieved under the previous agreement was reviewed, mechanisms for accelerating its implementation were discussed, and prospects for expanding future areas of cooperation were explored.

Both sides also emphasized the importance of supporting joint research projects, encouraging publication in reputable international journals, and strengthening collaboration in community service fields, reflecting the leading academic role of both institutions in serving the educational and societal environment.

During the visit, Prof. Al-Sultani reaffirmed the University’s commitment to effectively activating agreements and transforming their provisions into clear and practical implementation programs that contribute to expanding constructive cooperation.

For his part, Prof.Suleiman expressed his appreciation for the visit, praising the depth of scientific relations between the two sides and affirming the University of Fallujah’s full readiness to activate the agreement’s provisions and broaden cooperation in a way that supports the educational process and enhances integration among academic institutions.

This visit comes within the framework of strengthening scientific and academic cooperation among Iraqi universities, expanding joint work opportunities, and advancing academic performance in alignment with the Ministry of Higher Education’s vision of supporting effective partnerships and fostering communication among universities.
