The Vice President of Al-Zahraa University for Women for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr Zuhair Muhammad Ali Jaddoua, received an academic delegation from the Faculty of Science at the University of Karbala, led by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr Hassan Jamil Al-Fatlawi, accompanied by a number of heads of scientific departments and researchers. The official visit aimed to explore the scientific and research capabilities possessed by the university and discuss methods of academic and research cooperation between the two sides.
The visit included a field tour through the university, including Al-Zahraa Research Centre for Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences. During the tour, the delegation inspected specialized laboratories, advanced scientific equipment, and the approved workflow mechanisms for executing research projects and providing laboratory services. They also learned about the technical and research capabilities through which the centre contributes to supporting and developing the progress of scientific research.
Furthermore, the visit witnessed discussions on enhancing the scientific partnership between both sides by activating joint research programmes, exchanging academic expertise, and harnessing available capabilities to serve the development of scientific research outputs.
Through these visits, Al-Zahraa University for Women seeks to consolidate its relations with Iraqi universities, driven by its belief that research partnerships represent a fundamental pillar for elevating the quality of scientific outputs, affirming its continuous commitment to supporting and keeping pace with advancements that contribute to the progress of higher education in Iraq.
