Within the framework of the annual evaluation programme for research centres for the academic year 2025–2026, the presidency of Al-Zahraa University for Women received a ministerial delegation from the Research Centres Evaluation Committee at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The delegation was led by Dr Ahmed Muhammad Qasim, with the membership of Mr Muhammad Juma’ Kadhum and Ms Nibras Salah Hamid, during a visit to Al-Zahraa Research Centre for Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences at Al-Zahraa University for Women.

The visit aimed to monitor the performance of scientific research at the centre, assess the level of research achievement and infrastructure, and ensure compliance with institutional accreditation standards. The tour also included an inspection of the scientific laboratories and equipment available to serve researchers, reviewing ongoing research projects and approved workflows, as well as discussing the most prominent achievements and future development plans aimed at elevating the centre's efficiency and enhancing the quality of its research outputs.

This visit underscores the university's commitment to providing an academic environment that supports scientific research, as the centre represents a fundamental pillar in promoting research activity, developing scientific production, and serving the health and pharmaceutical sectors in Iraq.
