Transportation policy at Al-Zahraa University (peace be upon her) for Women

  • University Guard members shall regulate the entry, exit and movements of vehicles within the campus. They must verify the identity of drivers by requesting their university or personal ID, if unknown to them before allowing their cars to enter or while they are on campus. They may also inspect any vehicle to ensure the suitability of its load for the safety of the campus.
  • University guards are responsible for preparing permits or stickers for the entry of vehicles to the campus and grant them to those concerned. The University determines one of its employees to issue permits or stickers to requesters. This person shall be fully responsible for granting permits and bears any violation that occurs in granting them.
  • A copy of the record must be kept at each university gate, for verification by the guard on duty of the validity of the permit, the identity of its holder, and detection of permit forgery if necessary. University guard members shall update the record information to include the latest developments related to the permit.
  • Private and public buses and trucks are not allowed to enter the campus without the approval of the University Presidency
  • Public or private vehicles carrying employees or students at the university who do not own their own vehicles, and whose health conditions require their delivery to their workplaces or lectures, are allowed to enter the University, provided that the vehicle is registered at the visitor’s register.
  • University-owned vehicles are excluded from obtaining campus entry permits.
  • Members of University guard, in cooperation with the competent authorities at the University, arrange the entry of vehicles of University visitors during festive events held at the university, provided that visitors adhere to the procedures for entry and movement within the campus and exit in accordance with the rules.
  • The University has the right to cancel or suspend any permit if its owner commits any violation of the provisions of these instructions or the terms of the undertaking. The owner of the permit whose permit is suspended does not have any rights or claims from the university.
