The Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority holds a meeting for the directors of student activities departments in public and private universities

Based on the keenness of Al-Zahraa University for Women to participate in the meetings of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Reseaech, the Student Activities Department in the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Apparatus of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research held its meeting with the directors of the departments of the student activities in Iraqi universities in the Great Hall of Al-Farahidi University.

The meeting was attended by more than eighty of public and private universities. The meeting included a speech by the representative of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and a speech by the President of Al-Farahidi University. Several paragraphs were discussed in the meeting in which, it aimed at evaluate and strengthen the activities and obstacles that accompanied the previous activities and work to correct them in the next activities.

During the meeting, ideas and proposals for festivals and ministerial activities were put forward by the universities. The head of the Student Activities Department put forward a proposal by adding “A short story and novel competition festival”, where the winning university in the festival publishes and prints its winning text in magazines.

It is worth noting that the meeting was held under the auspices of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Yasser Al-Aboudi, and under the supervision and presence of the Head of the Scientific Evaluation and Supervision Authority, Prof. Dr. Salah Hadi Al-Fatlawi.
