In the presence of the President of Al-Zahra University for women, (Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultan) the activities of the “Mahdavi Tent” were concluded . The campaign under the title “Khaimah Mahdavia” was held at Al-Zahra University for women in cooperation with the Center for Specialized Studies of Imam Mahdi (peace be upon him) in Umm Abiha (auditorium of the university).

The closing ceremony included the recitation of a verse from the Holy Quran, a pause to read Surat Al-Fatihah mourning for the souls of the martyrs of Palestine, and the participation of the chanting group at the Holy Imam Hussein Shrine, followed by a speech delivered by the President in which she stressed the importance of spreading Mahdist culture and calling for it, emphasizing the endeavor of Al-Zahra University to support, promote and embrace the Mahdist cause.

Meanwhile, the speech of the Center for Specialized Studies was delivered by one of the official from the “Mahdavian Tent,” (Mr. Jaafar Al-Qabbanji), in which he thanked the cooperation of the presidency of Al-Zahra University for women and its entire staff , praising the great support that contributed to the success of the “Mahdavian Tent” project to consolidate the Mahdavian culture in university circles.

The ceremony witnessed a lecture by His Eminence Sheikh Zaman Al-Hasnawi, in which he spoke about the status of Imam Mahdi (PBUH) and his position in the Holy Qur’an, explaining that the real expectation for Imam Mahdi (PBUH) lies in the practical application of the actions recommended by the pious Imams, the application of the concepts of the Islamic religion, and following the footsteps of Ahlulbait (PBUT)

In his speech, Sheikh Al-Hasnawi emphasized upon the necessity of learning and reading cultural and scientific books to arm ourselves with the sciences of Ahlulbait (peace be upon them), and other sciences to face challenges and to create a generation of believers armed with science and knowledge.

The activities of the “Mahdavian Tent” festival were concluded by honoring the organizers and students participating in the Mahdavian Tent competitions.
