Desirous to create connections through scientific and academic cooperation between Iraqi universities and promote highly fostered scientific aspects, Al-Zahraa University for Women offers, in its ongoing search for excellence and distinction, its scientific competencies and extends all its available capabilities to students of science in particular and society in general.
Proceeding from the above intent,
Prof. Dr. Hawraa Hassan Abbas Al-Rubaie, Assistant President for Administrative and Financial Affairs participated as a chair of the scientific committee to discuss MSc thesis at the Technical Engineering Faculty, Najaf Al-Ashraf. Student Woroud Fadel Abbas, presented her thesis, entitled “Interference Management and Power Allocation for Heterogeneous Networks (HETNETS) with Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access (NOMA)”.
(HETNETS) with Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access ( NOMA))
The thesis addresses access, management and energy allocation solutions for heterogeneous networks (HETNETS) with unlimited multiple access and smoothly non-intersecting. It is one of the future solutions that companies rely on in advanced wireless communication technologies for fifth generation networks (5G) and beyond. Furthermore, these technologies allow multiple users to share the same frequency band at the same time and at different power levels, which increases spectrum efficiency and increases network capacity. Hence, the thesis is considered as one of the most significant MSc pieces of research.
It goes without saying that the participation of senior teaching staff from Al-Zahraa University in many master's and doctoral theses consists a major supportive contribution to the necessary capabilities so as to attain and bolster renewed goals and visions as well as desired positive results in the near future in Iraq.
