With representatives of Iraqi Academics Syndicate / Holy Karbala Branch as attendants and under the aegis of Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, President of Al-Zahraa University for women,
the annual elections of tutor representatives of faculties and scientific departments at the University took place today. It goes without saying that such representatives act as focal points between faculty members and the Syndicate with a view to further the educational process and open new success horizons, in a manner that not only responds to work requirements alone but solves and overcomes problems and obstacles in an appropriate manner to attain the desired goals.
It is noteworthy that Iraqi Academics Syndicate is one of the official institutions to which thousands of teachers, academics and holders of higher scientific and humanitarian disciplines degrees belong. The Syndicate shoulders the responsibility for the protection of their rights and freedoms in accordance with applicable laws. Furthermore, the Syndicate undertakes tasks for the promotion of higher education and scientific research in Iraq in addition to the creation of the appropriate success environment thereof at the local and regional levels. It also draws plans and makes proposals that ensure objective accomplishment and benefit community service.
