Within scientific and academic cooperation frameworks sought by Al-Zahraa University for Women with local and international universities, for the purpose of improving education reality and keep pace with developments conducive to the attainment of goals of higher education and scientific research in Iraq, a delegation from the University of Baghdad arrived at Al-Zahraa University.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Maysa Kazim, head of the biological research unit at the Faculty of Science, was at the head of the specialized delegation, which was received by the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani and senior staff members at the University. The visit was paid with a view to conclude memoranda of cooperation and scientific and academic understanding with Al-Zahraa Center for Research in Pharmaceutical Medical Sciences, which is one of the most important modern and advanced centers among Iraqi universities. The Center’s activities are considered as important addition to the provision of substantial studies, preliminary information analysis, and access to latest results and scientific research in conformity with globally advanced perspectives. Moreover, the Center has latest modern and advanced laboratory equipment acquired from sober global origins specialized in this field.
Al-Zahraa University for Women is one of the leading educational institutions, brought into being by Imam Hussein Holy Shrine in 2018. The University is an institution set up in line with global scientific and educational developments. It has several laboratories and modern medical devices in addition to advanced teaching methods to reach the University’s educational aim of female graduates that provide effective services to society and keep pace with the requirements of the labor market in important sectors inside and outside Iraq.
